Katakolon Greece 4.24.08
So wake up this morning and look out the window and we are in port!! Katakolon is a small fishing village with cafes and shops along the water. The island is also home to the archaeological site of Olympia where the first Olympic games took place in 776 BC held in the honor of Zeus. The ruins of the Temple of Zeus are still here today.
Beautiful little town to hang around, sat by the water at a little cafe and had cappuccino and watched fisherman repair their nets.
